You’re on the team.
Our employees are trained for success. Here’s what your training may include:
Backwoods’ Security Guard Employee orientation is our initial training program developed to get our employees familiarized with their new environment, co-workers and company. It provides the basic training and preparation required for new employees to face some of the challenges they may encounter.
Many roles at Backwoods require specific technical training in order for our employees to work safely and keep the sites safe.. We provide our employees, either internally or externally, with any technical training needed to conduct their jobs efficiently. IE. Verbal De-escalation training, Nalxone training, CCTV operational training, etc
At Backwoods, we understand our supervisors are a vital part of our organization. Supervisors guide our employees through problematic situations by issuing instructions and coaching to results. Properly trained supervision can be the difference between a company’s success and failure. We train our supervisors, both internally and externally, to become future leaders.
Leadership training is how Backwoods invests in our future by improving our current leaders and developing new leaders into successful company stakeholders. Our extensive leadership program identifies individual traits and helps to develop the necessary qualities to lead our business now and in the future.
At Backwoods Security Services we understand our employees are the most important part of our organization. By providing our employees with proper training, learning and development, we give them the right tools to perform their jobs safely and efficiently. Our goal is to provide our clients with competent, qualified professionals that can be depended on to do the job right,” Brian Hollet. “Backwoods’ Learning and Development program is designed to ensure that, no matter what your role is, we have a program that will help you to excel.
Make a difference
At Backwoods, we are all driven by a bigger goal. We are trained to protect people, property and assets for our clients, but we are also committed to investing in the communities where we live and work.
We not only believe in giving back, we make it happen. Every day.
DRIVING ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY BY EMPOWERING INDIGENOUS PEOPLE AND COMMUNITIES
“I have yet to meet someone who does not 100 percent believe in what we do and how we focus our business,” says Trina Cooper, Backwoods’ Director of attraction and Indigenous development. “All the hard work that every single person does, all the way from an accounting administrator up to the executives, everything we do day-to-day directly impacts the Alexis (Nakota Sioux) Nation because we are a revenue source for them. It’s a very different type of organization. If you want to join an organization where your work has a direct impact, this is it.”
